Survival Horror

The Survival Horror style is one that began with Alone in the Dark on the PC but came into its own with Capcom's successful Resident Evil series on the PlayStation. Not quite action, not quite adventure, these games play up the suspense and horror themes to instill a sense of fear in their audience.
