Worms is a strategy game for the masses, featuring up to 4 teams of 4 worms, aiming to destroy the others on a generated terrain. They are armed with a wide range of weapons - the standard ones as bazookas (which is affected by (random) wind settings and gravity) and grenades (which are affected only by gravity), both of which can score up to 50 points of damage (default energy for each worm is 100). The others include a Fire Punch, dynamite, air strikes, and utilities such as ropes and girders. There are 10 styles of terrain, ranging from forests and deserts to Candy land and the moon (complete with affected gravity). Shots leave craters in the ground, and complex tunnels can be formed. Play is turn-based, so each player must make their move and shot before time runs out - be careful to choose a sheltered area to leave the worm.

It's an action-rpg. At the beginning, you choose your character, warrior, sorceror or rogue. These characters can use different weapons, spells and equipment. The game starts in a town, where you can buy new stuff for your hero / heroine. You also get certain quests from the inhabitants there. Now you continue your way down to one of the 16 randomly created dungeon levels. There are loads of monsters to kill, after you have gained a certain number of experience points you can upgrade your skills. You find money which you can use to buy new weapons or scrolls or book etc. in town. The game features a great range of monsters, from simple skeletons to Diablo himself.

A crow is chasing a worm named Jim while in outer space Psy-Crow is chasing a renegade ship. The ship's captain has stolen an ultra-high-tech-indestructible-super-space-cyber-suit and Queen Slug-for-a-Butt has ordered Psy-Crow to get it, since it can make her more beautiful than Princess-What's-Her-Name. Psy-Crow blasts the captain and the suit falls to Planet Earth. Back on earth Jim wonders if he is finally safe when an ultra-high-tech-indestructible-super-space-cyber-suit lands on him. Luckily Jim rests in the neck ring of the suit. Then the space particles begin interacting with Jim, causing a light-speed evolution. Jim soon realizes he is in control of the suit. Jim overhears the Queen's plans for the suit and decides to meet this Princess...

Set in the 1920's, it's your job to take over the city, any way you can (murder, bribe, steel, etc.)! A combination of Sim City like style (it's a fake city, and the only connection to the 'real world' is the era) and turn-based planning, where you have lieutenants to control and do the dirty work for you. The more blocks in the city you take over, the more people you have loving your work, making it easier to control each area. But be careful, there are other gangs out there that may not like your work, so blood can get spilled easily.

Play a motocross game in a 3D world! Play in a tournament mode in which you race to get to the top or go to the stunt quarry and get points by performing various tricks.

This is as good as Need for Speed 2 only with some major 3D enhancements. Since the Voodoo 3D acceleration cards were dominant in 1997, this game has extended in that direction, and it supports 3Dfx. Now, if you have some of the Voodoo cards, you'll be able to test all the cars and tracks once again, just in a far better, smoother presentation then before. If you do not have 3Dfx card, you can still play this game as the original NFS II.

Once the colonists reach their destination they find themselves in the middle of an intergalactic conflict. The Outforce is a traditional top-down RTS game, played across a battlefield situated in space. To simplify the control and strategy system, the player only have to control his units along a two-dimensional battlefield, with only cosmetic variations in depth. The battlefield is scattered with asteroids, gas clouds and spacial debris as well as space stations, trading posts and military bases, which are all part of an interactive environment that can be taken advantage of in the actual game play.

An especially noteworthy aspect of the game is the very fluent animation of your character.

The main aim of the game is to increase your experience and power, much like any RPG of its type. You can talk to fellow gamers while online or create an allegiance with other players. The best part is, you don't need to buy the original Asheron's Call to play.

Reworking of the classic SNES game. Atomic Bomberman pits you against 9 opponents, human or computer, in the ultimate frag-fest. For the uninitiated, you control a cute little guy who carries an endless supply of bombs. The idea is to kill your opponents with these bombs - dropping bombs near them, throwing bombs at them, kicking bombs towards them. Very intense gameplay which requires complete awareness and lightning reactions.

Even weirder things happen when you start to move the Test Sample towards the antimass-spectrometer. And you ain't seen nothing yet. Yes indeed, the experiment went wrong. And more importantly, someone wants to keep this hush-hush operation a secret. And you know what that means, you'll have to fight your way through to the top of the Black Mesa complex. Bizarre, alien lifeforms will make your life harder. Trained marine squad will make it even harder. And when you face your ultimate challenge, you'll see just how much being a government employee really does suck.

Incoming aliens! Incoming aliens! Theyve already attacked the international moonbase, and they may already have a base in the Arctic! Earth is building a huge tracking station as first part of the counterattack, but now you detect incoming aliens and they dont look friendly! Defend your base against the initial incursion by manning turret, tank, helicopter, harrier jet, and even captured alien fighter as you battle the aliens in various continents, and eventually lead the counterattack on the moon! Incoming is a 3D shooter with plenty of action. In arcade mode, you can play it as a straight shooter. Some missions have you manning an immobile turret where you simply aim at the sky and engage incoming bogeys. Other missions can have you control a ground hovertank engaging enemy ground threats. Yet other missions will have you control a helicopter, a Harrier jumpjet, and even a captured alien fighter. There are also an action mode and action-tactics mode, where you are given some limited control of other friendly units.

The sequel to the orignal Laser Squad focuses entirely on 1vs1 tactical combat. Units from four different races can be selected: The Human Marines, the artificial Machina, the mysterious Grays and the aggressive Spawn. At the beginning of a game, units are deployed, each with a different cost of force points. Once deployed, orders will be issued (and tested) each turn. Concluding the turns of all players, the game then go live for 10 seconds, wherein all orders are played out and the results determined. Each player is given a variety of movement options, such as stances and stances, such as whether to halt, retreat or continue moving when an enemy is spotted. There are options for direct fire, terrain fire and opportunity fire. The progress of the battle can be reviewed at any time using the VCR-style controls. Laser Squad can be played as single player campaigns or a hotseat game.
