Adventure Puzzle

Adventure Puzzles are those titles that emphasize a collection of different puzzles that go beyond a single-screen play area. They may involve guiding a group of characters to safety through a series of dangers or having your character walk through different rooms trying to figure a way out. The time element is not as important as the method used in solving the puzzle, so these games generally place a greater emphasis on thinking rather than quick reflexes. Games that would normally be considered platform titles would fall under this category if the emphasis was placed on solving puzzles rather than directly controlling the character. The character essentially serves as a means to activate these puzzles.
