First-Person RPG

Gameplay in the first-person RPG is primarily played from the first-person viewpoint, although there may be times when the perspective shifts to the third-person (such as during combat or traveling between towns). Role-playing games that offer turn-based combat and default to the first-person perspective when walking through dungeons or in cities fall under this style.
