First-Person Shooter

Alien Trilogy is a first-person shooter based on the first three Alien movies. You control Lt. Ripley in three sections, each based on one film: The colony complex on LV426 (from Aliens), the prison planet (from Alien³) and the derelict spaceship (from Alien). Each section consists of about 10 missions. In every mission, certain goals must be accomplished to continue. These include killing a certain number of enemies, finding items or activating switches. Enemies include everything the Alien life cycle provides: facehuggers, chestbursters, warrior aliens, dog aliens (from Alien³) and Alien queens, one of which waits in the final mission of every section. In addition to the Aliens, you also have to fight employees of the Company, who have either been infected by the Aliens and are beyond saving or who actively want to obstruct your mission. Weapons to be used include pistol, shotgun, pulse rifle, flame thrower and smart gun. Ammunition, health upgrades and other useful items are scattered throughout the levels. Hidden areas may be uncovered by using explosives like grenades and seismic charges. An auto mapping system helps in not getting lost, night goggles and shoulder lamps (running on battery power) allow you to see in the dark and the motion tracker tells you where your enemies are - but only if they are moving.

Aliens vs. Predator 2 takes you to Planet LV1201, where three diverse and bloodthirsty species battle for survival. The story-driven plot weaves together the fates of all three races, while the action takes after the blockbuster films on which it is based. Choose to play as Alien, Predator, or Marine as you use your physical prowess, killer instincts, or superior firepower to stay alive. This 3D shooter gives you the opportunity to choose among 3 races in the struggle for your life control. You can pick deadly Aliens, that has very piercing claws and striking tail, beside the double mouths that can pierce the enemy skull. You can also be a Predator, also an anlien race that came here to hunt, and by that he uses chameleon transparent cover, many vision modes, easy to locate anything that breaths or moves, with one gun mounted on his shoulder, and add-on knife-alike pack on his arm fist. He also uses other weapons, and can easily zoom any enemy even to 8x. Last race is Humans, to be specific, a Marine. Without weapons he's fairly weak, but that's why his weapon arsenal is huge, flamethrowers, miniguns, machineguns, bazookas, etc. and beside that he can watch in night-vision mode, or use his flares to enter the dark. However, flares are limited to five at the time. So pick a race and demonstrate your abilities, either as a human, alien or predator. This Gold Edition gives you more than 30 levels, including 5 bonus levels for each race. Battlefield: 1942 is massive online multiplayer shooter roughly based on World War II, but with emphasis on balance and fun. Join armed forces of United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Germany or Russia, and battle up to 63 of your friends online. Have access to up to twenty different authentic weapons. Control any of the 30+ vehicles over land, on water, or in air. Combat takes place in four theatres; South Pacific, North Africa, and Eastern and Western Europe. Have epic battles with up to 64 players on the same map, or hone your skills in single-player mode against AI bots.

This mainly multiplayer focused expansion to Battlefield 1942 has you fighting with up to 64 fellow gamers during the least known battles of World War II, the Italian and Sicilian campaigns. Along with the same gameplay elements of the original title, Road to Rome adds two new forces to fight as (French legionnaires and Italian forces), eight new vehicles (including the German BF-110 bombers), new handheld weapons (rifle grenade launcher, the British Sten SMG and bayonets) and six maps based on the Italian and Sicilian campaigns, including Operation Husky. A single player mode is also included, adding improved AI and no scripting, allowing unique gameplay everytime you play.

Experience battle in Europe during World War II. Some of the battles you play through are the D-Day invasion, the Russian charge on Stalingrad, the Battle for Berlin and many others. There are 24 interconnected missions to play to get to Berlin. You experience the game through multiple perspectives starting as an American Paratrooper during D-Day, progressing your way through you assume the role as an English Special Forces commando and finally as a Russian tank commander. There are many multiplayer game modes to also play online.

In the future the world is chaos. Terrorists, drug czars, and outlaw states rule the globe using violence and subterfuge as tools in their push for global conquest. Economic disparity is at an all-time high and many predict the collapse of the world economy. To top it off a deadly virus known as the Gray Death eats away at humanity. In this dark cyberpunk RPG you play the role of a single UNATCO anti-terrorist agent pitted against an elaborate global conspiracy. While your character is essentially fixed within the story-framework of the game you can customize yourself with different skills in specialized areas like weapons, technical, and charisma-type. The game world is somewhat expansive and fairly open to accommodate different approaches to solving the same problems, depending on your preferred style of play. Characters can also have nanotech augmentations to enhance or add extra abilities. The game interface is typic of a first person RPG/action-adventure game. The world is rendered in first-person 3D and camera segues are sometimes interspersed to transition the gameplay or expose new story elements. Combat takes place in the same interface, similar to a FPS game.

Black Mesa research facility, an ultra-secret laboratory under government contract, conducting top-secret and extremely volatile experiments with stuff you're not supposed to know about. You are Gordon Freeman, a Black Mesa employee. And this morning, as usual, you pit your way to the research facility for a run-of-the-mill experiment. Only this morning's experiment is not quite as ordinary as you thought. Odd things begin to happen as you make your way to one of the Black Mesa test chambers. Even weirder things happen when you start to move the Test Sample towards the antimass-spectrometer. And you ain't seen nothing yet. Yes indeed, the experiment went wrong. And more importantly, someone wants to keep this hush-hush operation a secret. And you know what that means, you'll have to fight your way through to the top of the Black Mesa complex. Bizarre, alien lifeforms will make your life harder. Trained marine squad will make it even harder. And when you face your ultimate challenge, you'll see just how much being a government employee really does suck.

This time, you come to Black Mesa facility as Adrian Shephard, a military colonel that has a simple, and yet very opposing job, to clean all the mess scientists left behind. Things quickly go badly for Corporal Shephard and his men, as they fell in an alien trap. Will you survive and reach the extraction point, you'll soon find out yourself. Of course, you'll need your original Half-Life game to complete this task and get to know alien weakness.
